Bring 'er in for a landing
A bar with 150 kinds of vodka? Loved it. The tiny space with most seats reserved for first-class (a.k.a. bottle service) only? Not so much. But we weren't the only Chicagoans who didn't like sitting in a faux airport any more than a real one. High-flying Jet Vodka Lounge has closed, yet bravely hasn't abandoned the airline theme: its web site thanks customers for a "memorable layover" in Chicago before it moves to Orlando, Fla. later this summer. We would sure love it if some other creative nightlife impresarios created vodka lounge that's more inclusive -- with better leg room.
